The more I learn, the more I realize that teaching does not have to adhere precisely to one learning theory or another. As such, I have come to embrace the role of a facilitator to create an active and more relevant student-centered learning environment that promotes the development of critical thinking skills. However, the achievement of a desired instructional outcome is still highly dependent on measurable learning objectives and the use of formative assessment techniques to help students identify their strengths and weaknesses to target areas that need additional focus. With a graduate certificate in e-learning and online teaching in addition to my academic education having been completed in both the traditional classroom setting and online learning environment, I have obtained invaluable knowledge and experience in the effective design, development, and delivery of face-to-face and online coursework. Listed below is a summary of my experience in the human resource training and development profession.
